Navy & Distressed Dresser

I have a quick before and after for you today!  A few weeks ago, I bought a big, brown and ugly dresser set.  I finally have had time to work on them and decided to do the tall boy first.

Before

After - All new knobs, navy blue paint, and distressed.

I love how current it looks.  You would never know how dated it looked before.

I have several other makeovers from this past week.  I can't wait to share them with you.  Also, I will be sharing some info and details about our coffee bar!

  2. I am getting ready to do a very similar piece using chalk paint. Did you do anything to the wood before painting blue? Or just paint blue then sand/distress to expose the wood underneath? Thanks!
